Who would have thought a few years ago that we would be thinking if a front line Sony product would be able to take the competition.

It certainly has not been an easy ride for Sony in recent months. After many users had their details hacked off the sony servers and the recent profit warning combined with dropping to the lowest level in 25 years on the Tokyo stock exchange is certainly causing the company to have a re-think.

The games market has also become very competitive, especially with the advance of hand held devices let by companies like Apple who are certainly looking like Sony did a few years ago (could they be in for the same fate, thats the topic for another blog).

However purist in the market still believe that there is no replacement for a games console that is optimized to just play games, with better graphics and functionality and if sales and swaps on SupaSwap are anything to go by then many of you agree.

Only time will tell. watch this space.

Duke Nukem Forever, well what can we say, here at the Supa Swap office we found this one a real dissapointment to play and will not be rushing out to buy this one. Thats not to say you will not like this one, but I will have to rate this one 1/10.

The Best Points

It is funny to be able to shrink your enemies and Stomp on them! that is the highlight of this game.

The Bad Points

Where do I start? Long, this game seems to go on and on but not in a good way, the scenes are very boring even in the driving sections this game does not seem to perform the way it should. When you shoot the enemy there is a lack of impact, as if the game lacks excitement which makes it actually funny to play. Each level is short and empty of things to do and search for and the loading between games are too long, which I cant understand why when the levels are so simple.

This is suppose to be an exciting Sci-Fi shooting game but really it is an embarrassment to the gaming world. It is as if these levels were just thrown together in an attempt to release as quick as possible.


If you are a fan then we apologise, but this one really did not do it for us here at Supa Swap.

Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition has to be one of the funniest and well thought of games we here at Supa Swap have seen in a long time. Attention to detail of the characters are excellent and the scenes are the same.

Sat here in my office playing through this adventure game I suddenly realised I was taken back to my childhood, this arcade feel game really was fun to play.

Super Street fighter IV arcade version is said to be one of the best fighting games of the 21st Century. This new revised version of Street fighter IV has added four extra characters, tweaking the online experience and adding more levels to keep you wanting more.

Downsides

The downsides to Street Fighter IV is there seems to be a little lack in challenges for the new characters, there is a shortage of moves which can make it a little boring to play and each level can seem the same.

Overall this is a great game with fantastic screen graphics and an awesome two player function that allows you to play against your best enemy! I certainly found this game had everything to offer, allowing you to use skill to fight your appointment.
